Modern two bedroom apartment situated in the Cadiz region of the Costa de la Luz. This coastal area known as La Barrosa has a beautiful 8km long beach, which has been awarded an EU Blue Flag for its cleanliness. It is conveniently placed for easy access to the Aiports at Jerez (40 mins), Sevilla (90 mins) and Gibraltar (2 hours). Cadiz one of the oldest Cities in Europe is 30 minutes away. The "Pinar del Atlantico" accommodation complex is one of the premier residential developments in La Barrosa, situated on the edge of a pinewood. The beautiful sandy beach is 800 meters away - 2 minutes by car or 10-15 minutes on foot along a pretty street or, if you prefer a shadier route you can walk through the pinewood. The pinewood is actually a park with barbeque and children's play areas in the centre. There are a number of paths through the trees, most of which lead you to the Novo Sancti Petri beach and commercial area where the tourist office is situated. The apartment consists of two bedrooms–both with integrated wardrobes-one with two single beds and one double that leads onto a sunny balcony running the length of the property, ideal for outside dining. The kitchen/living area is open plan, with a comfortable sofa, breakfast bar and separate dining area. The sofa comes with a bed that pulls out from under it and can be stored away during the day. The kitchen has a gas hob, new washing machine and fridge freezer and is well stocked with utensils; the hot water boiler is also new and has been awarded a safety certificate by the local council. There is a good-sized bathroom, which includes bath/shower and bidet; A reserved under cover parking space is situated to the side of the building. This part of Mainland Spain is closest to Africa and benefits from a temperate climate with relatively warm daytime temperatures all year round. If you prefer to experience "the real Spain" then this is the place to come it's traditionlly where the Spanish holiday but you will also find a good mix of other European nationalities including many Brits. Local planning rules forbid building higher than two stories, thus adding to the overall appeal of the resort. The nearest town Chiclana is just 10 minutes away by car, you are also within an hour's drive of many beautiful towns including historical Cadiz; Jerez the home of sherry making and Tarifa where you can take a day trip to the port of Tangier in Morocco. La Barrosa has many unspoilt sections where you can loose yourself amongst the sand dunes, it's been described as one of the best beaches in the region, which itself boasts 19 blue flag beaches. La Barrosa is the perfect location to participate in a wide variety of sports such as golf, cycling, and all types of watersports. More leisurely choices like whale watching, angling and sherry tasting are also available.
